About Brogen:

Brogen has operated upland hunting preserves in Oregon since he was 17 years old and has been an upland and big game guide for over 15 years. Dogs and hunting have been a part of his life for as far back as he can remember and he couldn’t imagine life without them. He currently owns and operates RioRidge Outfitters with his wife, Emma, and manages the Horseshoe Curve Hunt Club, where they run upland bird hunts as well as big game.

At RioRidge they provide professional gun dog training services with a focus on pointing breeds and retrievers as well as big game hounds. They operate out of a 1200 acre preserve in Echo, Oregon, chasing liberated and wild birds. Brogen spends roughly 220 days per year in the field guiding upland birds and is actively training dogs throughout the year. In addition to client dogs, they currently have 12 dogs of a variety of pointing breeds and ages.
