Brett is an owner, operator, trainer and handler for Rustic Lodge Gun Dogs. Rustic Lodge Gun Dogs prides itself on breeding a well-mannered, strong hunting and family companion German Shorthaired Pointer for both sport and tournament hunting.

Brett started running and handling shorthairs during college. His true passion for upland hunting and bird dog training came during his time in Kansas working at Ringneck Ranch, Inc. He now spends his time hunting all over the US on various upland species with the Rustic Lodge team.

Brett competes on the tournament circuit running both the United Field Trailers Association and National Upland Classic Series. He has most recently finished 7th at the 2022 National Upland Classic Series Nationals and 1st Place at the 2023 East Coast Quail Championship. Brett has handled various dogs both pointers and retrievers to championships and national’s finalist positions.
