Growing up with a love of nature and animals paved the way for Alisha’s passion for competitive dog sports. She has been competing with her German Shorthaired Pointers for almost 5 years in North America Diving Dogs (NADD). This experience sparked a desire to help others learn about dog sports and the bond it creates between canine and human. This led her to start actively training in Mount Pleasant Pennsylvania for the past 2 and half years. For her, the best part of training is seeing other owners’ excitement when their dog jumps off the dock for the first time.
When Alisha is not training dogs for others, she focuses on her own dogs. She can be found with her husband Robert training for upland hunting, trials, diving dogs, and even barn hunt. They enjoy traveling to new places for competitions and hunting new species of birds. Alisha is an active judge for the United Field Trialers Association (UFTA) and NADD. Alisha also earned her AKC evaluator status for Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Title. She has long term goals to cultivate her passion for training dogs and improving the breed standards.
